Where do you suggest these people move? They have to live somewhere right?

People complain so much about how their rural area is changing.... guess what, they population grows every year, this is going to happen and continue to happen.

Wow, this was an excellent response, laughable if you ask me

That's what the IE is, lower income areas with affordable housing. That's why I moved here. Can't afford San Diego, this is next best thing.

What is this magic number of excess children? Under over 2.56?

There is a law of population growth, IF 2 adults have 2 kids and then those 2 kids have 2 more each, you are now at 8 people. The number has grown from 2 to 8 in X amount of years.

Sorry, I meant affordable housing units should be constructed in already built up lower-income areas. Not rural ones.

I believe the global replacement fertility rate is 2.33; which would be lower for developed countries.

Your example is asinine. People die - believe it or not - and your model does not account for that.

You wouldn't be in the IE to begin with if you didn't have too many people competing for too few resources in places like San Diego.

Midwit detected.

Anyways, one of the charms of the IE/SW Riverside County are the relative amount of open spaces and lack of congestion. It's better staying off that way as much as possible, especially considering the likely source of population increase will be from other Southern Californians, a people widely noted for self-centered behavior.
