Default Northbound I-15 at evening rush hour... how bad?

Apologies for the odd question... but how heavy does traffic on I-15 northbound run in the evening rush hour (4-7 PM)? I am looking for information on everything between Temecula and Ontario Mills.

A strange question, I know... but I am considering buying season tickets to the Ontario Reign expansion ECHL team, and there would be about 15 games on Wednesday or Friday. As I am 90 miles from the arena, I don't know what to expect for traffic on that end.... any idea on how much time you'd lose over non-rush hour (weekend) traffic? I've been up there many times on weekend afternoons/evenings, the traffic is fine then of course!

Thanks!

I think it clogs up in the mornings, everyone heading down the hill to work, then starting around 3, it starts to clog coming back up. Friday nights and Sundays are usually a bit stop-and-go, people going to and coming back from Vegas.

I'm driving to Vegas tonight from Riverside and I was thinking of coming back on Friday. How is the 15 coming from Vegas and back into Ontario? Is it just as bad as the northbound? If so, maybe I should wait until Saturday.

it wont be as bad, but you get a lot of lookielous slowing down traffic when the other side is slow. then again, there people will probably be driving into california(feel bad for them!) on friday night too. just dont leave vegas on sunday after 10am or so or you'll never make it home

Friday would be about 3/4 of the weekday commutes.... I never thought of traffic to Vegas. How far would it take to get from Corona to Ontario Mills, roughly, on average on a Friday rush hour?

Thanks for the replies!

30 minutes... not bad at all for 10 times a year, I think that will be fine!
