San Gab. are part of the San Bernardino Mountain range it become Lil San Bernardino mts. from Big Bear area down to hills surrounding Lower deserts are.

This is in Hemet, CA where my grandmother lives. I live in New York state now and one of the things I really miss is being able to get so much free citrus fruit.

The San Gabriel Mountains are not part of the San Bernardino Mountains. They are two distinct ranges, separated by Cajon Pass. Nor do the Little San Bernardino Mountains begin at the "Big Bear area". The Little San Bernardino Mountains are separated from the San Bernardino Mountains by Morongo Valley, and their highest point - Quail Mountain in Joshua Tree National Park - is lower than Big Bear itself.
