Roughly 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic, your driving speed, and how close in crestline you are to the 18. I used to drive to Loma Linda every day from Lake Arrowhead and it took me about 40 minutes.

Default Commuting from Crestline

Loma Linda is 45-60 minute drive in morning traffic. You also want to concider the winter conditions on the mountain (Crestline). You may be snowed in many days during the winter and not all roads are plowed right away. The plowing is done by the county . Make some calls and find out if your street will be plowed at all and then ask if it is a secondary plow or not. My street is never plowed in the morning hours, usually after 2-3 in the afternoon so getting the kids to school or going to work on snow days is out. Also, you may need to put chains on your tires to get off the mountain and take them off when you get down- this takes time too.
The mountain communities are great if you want to get away from the city life. The population has doubled up here since the late 1990's. There is actually traffic up here now, but not enough to warrant any stop lights.
