First off, thanks for everyone to contributes to these threads! By searching many of my initial questions have been answered.

What can you tell me about the part of Colton located East of the 215 and South of the 10? Is it reasonably safe? I've heard "cooley ranch" thrown around... is that just a subdivision, if so what are it's borders? The homes we can afford would be quite close to the 215/10, probably not in "cooley ranch"

My wife and I will be moving down later this summer and are hoping to buy our first house. We would like to be as close to Loma Linda as possible, we both plan on bicycling to work/school. From reading other posts and what friends from down there have told me I want to live South of the 10. We are considering some of the older houses in loma linda, around Coloma St, Poplar St etc. Thoughts?

I have also looked online at some houses in S Redlands as well, though generally these are more than we are able to afford. I have also considered Grand Terrace... any advice as to the safer areas there? How is the area around Grand Terrace Park?

Thanks in advance.
