eastvale was built on land that used to be cow farms. there are also huge power lines running above much of the community. with all of the s*** in the ground and electricity over your head, I can't imagine it being a healthy place to live.

I think the community (Eastvale) itself is actually pretty nice and close to amenities that are growing. But I have heard that because it was former dairy land... the land itself is saturated with what cows leave behind.. now they may have corrected that problem, I don't know.

Your best bet for what will be a lousy commute, is to find a way, any way, to take the Metrolink, or you WILL be glued to your car... unless you have work hours that are flexible.

Default I am moving from Phoenix

I am still fortunate to have a job and hence comes with a transfer! Office will be in Rancho Dominguez and I am thinking Corona due to grandkids in Vegas and family still in AZ. What is the commute time to Rancho Dominguez from Corona? Just my wife and me, but we have a 3200 sqft house in AZ and need to stay at least 2400-2800sqft and affordable! any suggestions?

hi flo,

can you tell me what times you start your commute and whether you take the fast track and car pool lanes to be able to take only 20 minutes? my route will also need to be from corona to katella (los alamitos) but i plan to take the katella side street from the 55. is this what you also take? thanks and let me know!

I would not take Katella from 55 to Los alamitos... that will be more than 30 minutes because of all the lights and traffic in the morning. I would take the 91 to the 605 - 605 south to Katella which will drop you off in Los Alamitos. Katella could be a back up plan for you. You could also take the 22 to the 405 to Los Alamitos, but the 22 gets really congested in the morning.

When I was living there I had a reverse commute. I was leaving McKinley around 3pm and coming back at 7 pm same day. Los Alamitos although is on the same street is a lot farther. I was driving to Katella in the city of Orange
