I commuted from Murrieta to Irvine for a year and it was not pleasant. I usually left around 5:50AM to get to work by 7:30 AM (sometimes I got there around 7:10 to 7:15 on a lucky day). Going home is a crapshoot, some days it could take 1 hour (very lucky day) using Toll Roads and 91, other days 2 solid hours (91 is hit or miss). I usually left work at 6PM, traffic was still alive and well.
