Default Houses in Temecula, commute to Imperial Beach

Hi all,
We have been looking for a house and found the perfect one (literally, 5 beds, 1/2 acre, newer) in foreclosure in Temecula. However we both work in North Imperial Beach, near Coronado. Does any body commute over the Cornado bridge to/from Temecula? I know gas is expensive now, but we plan on doing this for about 3 years. The house is at a price we can literally pay off in 10 years. Any thoughts would be so helpful. Also, any good pediatricians in the area?
Thanks.
