The point that many have tried to make is that you keep spelling desert with two s's... that would be what you eat after dinner.

Desert - area with minimal rainfall.
Dessert - sweet treat following a meal.

In other words a dessert rat would be a very BAD thing. But here we are proud to be desert rats.

Ivorian - have you been out here lately? OMG! It's gorgeous out here! Our weather has been in the 80's and 90's with our evenings about 75 degrees.

okay rub it in..It's freezing and snowing here. I'll be in cali at the end of this month .I am so excited about moving to SOCAL. I'll have to take 2 more trips to cali to pick and choose can't wait. I'm still undecided i want to be in the DESERT area but i also want to be close to LA as well. so I'm torn i don't know where to look .
I manage to convince my sister and her husband to move to California()but she's definately going for LA. YEAH!
