how bad is bloomington,ca as far as crime?
I live in Yucaipa right now but moving to Bloomington beginning of next month.I was wondering if anyone that lives there or has lived there can tell me more about Bloomington as far as crime goes.I lived in San Bernardino for a long time before and it was so bad i even had a friend of mine get killed for no reason just walking home.Once i left there i swore id never go back,is Bloomington that bad? It's not my choice to move there, rent is too much where im at,also too far from work, and me and my boyfriend were given an opportunity to rent somewhere really cheap with no deposit or anything and we have to be out of here by the end of the month so we took what we could at the moment.if it helps, the home is on cedar ave in Bloomington.Thank you.

Do you really have too? Are sure about this? I know that neighborhood in fact I was just there for Christmas, it was pretty scary, I kept thinking my car was gonna get stolen, because it's happened before just not to me. Bloomington isn't too big so I think I've targeted in on the exact location your saying. Believe me there is a reason it's so cheap!

There is a reason it is so cheep! without a deposit ! it's the pits If you don't get raped ,your money and belonging stolen . then they will for sure steal you car first chance they get. Stop and talk with the sheriff sub neighborhood station on cedar st near Santa Ana, I am sure they can fill you in . or stop at the Bloomington garage , frontage road down from the Post Office. , talk to Pam or Virgina , SAT. or SUN . I am sure they can also fill you in as to what you need to know about the area.

It kinda depends on what part of Bloomington you are talking about. There are some parts were I will avoid at any cost, but I have lived in Bloomington for 5 year w/o major incident. You want to avoid the number street in the south part of town!. The gangs are so poor that you do drive-bys on bicycles. Generally, and I mean Generally, any where between Santa Ana and Slover is ok. There are beter areas west of Ceder. And some good areas north of the Freeway. If you give me a cross street I might be more specific.
