Unhappy I think it's getting worse

I lived there a little over a year ago and a couple of months ago I was out there and the surrounding area of my old neighborhood looked real run down. I'm not too surprised though cause the latter half of the year I was living in Hemet Meadows we had our bbq'er stolen off our porch and we found a gas siphoner on our driveway. There was too much commotion going on in that cemetery at night. But back in 2005 Hemet seemed like our little golden secret.

It could happen.

Default getting better

In my opinion, I think it's getting better. I grew up on Rosalia Ave in Hemet. Back in the days you could hear gunfire every other week and see the cops in the neighborhood 2-3 times per day. I moved out of there in 2006. Now I live in San Jacinto.

When I drive by my old neighborhood, I see alot of abandoned apartments. About half of the complex is empty. I guess this is a sign that the authorities and the apartment managers are doing something to fight the gang problem in that neighborhood. From what it looks like, the gangs are moving back to LA or being sent to jail. I think the real problem in the valley ins't the gangs but the hundreds of registered sex offenders that live here. Been living in San Jacinto so far and haven't seen any problems lately.

integrity, turn onto 79/Sanderson and avoid the compound all together.

the gangs in Hemet and SJ are getting worse, b/c many are being paroled here from LA, San Diego and OC. there isn't a lot in papers, but i have heard of huge fights in cul-de-sacs in developments. not as bad as the larger cities
