Hi Wayne - We did get quite a bit of snow and the biggest drawback and knowing you can't leave town on the weekends because of traffic being horrible. I did figure though we can drive out Lone Pine Canyon and go down to Rancho and then back up that way - the traffic is never that bad on Lone Pine. I do love it up here though. We bought a jeep as soon as we moved up here - and have had no problems in snow or ice. I'm thankful for that!

We are moving to Pinion Hills mid October. From everything I've read, its the place to be if you appreciate gentle country folk and fine living in a peaceful scenic setting. :-)
