Hey all,
I've been checking this thread, but just registered today. I too will be a part of River Road Village.

Welcome JP! They sold so quickly didn't they? I remember taking a look back in early Feb and plan 12's were going for 254,900. Good thing I went back later in the month I also got a plan 12 and noticed the woodchips on my side lawn which will probably be messy going in and out of the house. I'm planning to put some form of stone tile to expand the space back there. What about you guys?

I am the first time buyer. I feel that there is a lot of things to do with the house like window covering , rear yard concrete, garage and so on...

I would never have been able to take a 2nd glance at 254,900. I didn't even consider the side yard, stone tile or concrete would probably help. I don't expect to be out there much beyond the patio for bar-b-queing. I have not had any contact from the lender or Brian since I signed the papers.

Is anyone going to have an inspection done before you move in? I have been having conversations with different people and some say to do it before I move in and others say to wait 6 to 10 months and have it done then.

Roger said that it's not so necessary to have an inspection by a professional inspector. Because it's the new house and there's warranties on it by builder. Is that true?
