Do you guys know that how to apply the tax credit $18000(state and federal)after closing, especially the state $10000 ,it's allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, now it's allocated $34.94M out of $100M until 4/15/09.

The federal tax credit for 1st time home buyers is done on your yearly taxes. You can either do an amendment to your 2008 taxes or do it on your 2009 taxes. There is a form you will need to include in your tax return.
The state has to be done by fax only, and it has to be submitted within 1 week (7 calender days) after escrow closes. The escrow person on behalf of the seller and buyer will fax the completed form (to be completed by the seller and the buyer)We have to make sure that paper is completed and signed on the day escrow closes. I'm sure the escrow company knows about it by now. We should have time to get in on it
