Default Looking at River Road Village in Corona

This is a new gated community at River Road and Cota in Corona, zip code 92880. I wonder if anyone knows this area and could tell me positives or negitives about it? I love the house there, and it is within my budget. I work in Pomona and since it is west of the 91/15 interchange I feel the commute would be fairly easy. My main concern is the crime rate and overall feel of that area. I have no school age kids, so that isn't a concern. Thanks in advance for any input.

Tracy

Seems like a smart buy. Looked at the homes this past Saturday and it was very busy. The area is located within a business area so it is quiet. There are apartment buildings across the street but community is fenced in. I'm in the process of getting pre-qualified through their lender. Happy shopping!

Right,it's nice. The important thing is that i can afford it. And it's eligible to receive $18000 tax credit. That office is so busy these days and 15 sold in 3 weeks. I made the purchase agreement already. Good luck!

But i am not sure the closing date. They changed the date to 5/14. Not sure it's the final or not. How about you?

That's what they told me as well. Are you in phase 1 also?

In phase 2. Today I went to that office and Roger told me that the closing date is on 5/14. I locked the rate with countrywide bank. Now I am waiting for the loan to be approved. But not sure about that. So I don't dare to make the moving notice to my office now. How about you? Are you ready to pack and move?

Wow, he had said that phase 2 would probably close in mid June. They must have sold faster than he had anticipated. I am waiting also, for the loan to be approved. I will not give notice at my apartment until I am 100% sure because I don't want to get caught without a place to live! I better start getting boxes and tossing junk though because I think it will get here in the blink of an eye!

Congrats you guys! I'm pretty excited that we will get to move in much sooner than they had indicated. Everyone moving in on the 14th will be like college
