You'll need a lawyer in Barstow or where the court is located in the jurisdiction in San Bernardino County named on your citation.

I just beat a red light camera ticket using
fight & beat speeding & red light traffic tickets in traffic court
Give them a call. It's legal to fight the ticket via mail, which I never knew before. The company supplied me with a complete set of documents. All I had to do is sign and send to the Courthouse. They are very coimplete in their research...
I got the results back yesterday, and the ticket was dismissed and my fine was refunded....

Um, were you actually speeding? At 95? Then you deserve a ticket! Case closed.
Enjoy your day.

For going 95, a lawyer will help but chances are you're still going to have a ticket ... just one that isn't as serious. Any which way, the financial impact on your driving record will prolly be uglier than the fine itself.
Chalk it up as a lesson learned ... and if you have to speed, do it while next to something sportier and don't be the last in line. If you speed solo (or simply just faster than the flow of traffic), the chances of being the one caught is much greater.

Don't waste your time and money on a lawyer. It's going to be about a $500 fine or more. Try to prolong the courtdate on the citation as long as possible by calling the courthouse. The most you can hope for is a reduction in price since 25mph over is inexcusable. You can either set for a later courtdate (the more you prolong the date, the better chances are the cop won't show up), and if the cop doesn't show up the fine will be reduced by the judge. Or you can try Trial by Declaration, where you write a letter claiming your innocence to the judge, but you will still have to send the full price amount of the fine in, and you will get a some cash back if you win. Either way, you will still have the points on your record. This whole process will def teach you a lesson. Slow down! It's just not worth it.

Surprised they did not arrest you for reckless driving. Which is any speed 25 mph over the posted limit.

I've never heard of anyone being arrested in CA for speeding, and I have friends that have been caught going over 100mph. The worst they will do is impound your vehicle and take your license on the spot.

Then that's what they should have done...that is just too fast and dangerous..those are the drivers that cause the accidents, somehow they just zip through them..
