Default Hesperia

Is the Hesperia area cooler in the summer than Apple Valley?

If you live in Hesperia, do you like it?

Is crime in Hesperia lower than Apple Valley?

Are there Mello-Roos in Hesperia?

Thanks !

Summers are about the same between Apple Valley and Hesperia and crime is way higher is Hesperia (there's a reason they call it "Hysteria")

AV and Hesperia have a common boarder, so there isn't much difference in temperature or such..
AV is the more upscale of the two. To go father, AV is upscale, Hesperia is not... AV is the much nicer place to live, between the two. There is no crime to speak of in AV..
It does happen, but it happens in every town in america...
Some bad areas in AV, but lots of big money housing, mansions and such...

Donn and Twist......uh I lived in Hesperia about 10 years and the crime is no more than the crime in Apple Valley...or the High Desert for that matter. Parts of Apple Valley are known as Felony Flats. I would live in Hesperia before I would move to Apple Valley or Victorville any day...however I moved from Hesperia in 2005 because the COMPLETE high desert saw the COMPLETE movement of the people from San Bernardino, Inland Empire area move and take over the desert. If I had to move back I would choose Hesperia North of Main or close to 15 FWY, or Oak Hills.

The desert use to be are very nice place. It has to many growing pains now to ever retrive what it had years ago. Kind of like an oasis in the middle of no where.

As for Mello Roos' they are everywhere in the desert, so ask before you purchase. I heard most Mello Roos are in the Victorville area.
