Default fire pit in arrowhead

anyone know the laws on outdoor fire pits in lake arrowhead???

At home or camp?
If camping you need a fire permit from the forest service, they are free from any ranger.
If at a residence you may need to call it a barbeque. Standard clearance around pit, water hose available, etc. Best to call a fire department to get the particulars. My dad is in the country and he has a 6 foot pit with a steel rim around it. The fire department advised him to call it a barbeque as trash burning is illegal there.
