Default Commuting from Coachella Valley to Riverside

I'm scheduled to move to the Palm Springs area in two years, and will work in either San Bernardino, Riverside, or Moreno Valley. I realize there's some distance between Coachella Valley and these three cities, but I was curious to know what the morning and evening commute is like going to and from Riverside, SB, and MV from Coachella Valley.

Since I'd be taking the 10 freeway, is the commute really bad or would I being going against traffic?

Thanks!

The communte isn't bad at all. I travel into Riverside, Redlands and Fullerton 4 days a week for my dance training and have not found it to be bad at all. However, I did get a Fastrak transponder for my car for travel into Fullerton. I can get from La Quinta to Riverside in about an hour and 10 minutes or less, Redlands in 45 to an hour. I just purchased the Fastrak transponder and signed up, so I haven't used that yet. Will use it on Tuesday. It typically takes me 2 hours and 15 minutes from La Quinta to Fullerton and around 3 hours back. Riverside and Redlands are about the same getting back as getting to.
