Escrow opened yesterday! Lake Arrowhead! (Grass Valley: schools, living in, prices)

Hi everyone, thought I'd share the exciting news! We just opened escrow in Lake Arrowhead in the Grass Valley Lake area. It's a very nice 3/2 that I plan on making a 4/2 in a vew years(there's an incomplete bedroom with windows that hasn't been completed!). We've searched for about a year and a half for the right place, and here we go! This is our (my and my wife's) first house. We fell in love with LA and though it'd be a great place to bring our daughter (1yr old still) up in. Any possible neighbors.... ?

I used to live in Arrowhead kind of near GVL. As long as you're a good parent your daughter should turn out fine. The area you're living in is fine but Rim schools have a lot of bad apples.

Yup, I live about 2 miles from GVL. Prices have been so low the past year I'm sure you got a great deal. You will love Lake Arrowhead. Make sure you have an SUV however. We get a lot of snow some years and you need to be prepared. Welcome!
