So, in other words, You can have an opinion about something and I can`t. It`s your opinion that these places are the middle of the road areas. Well, not mine...

Well if it has an average income, average crime, reflects the average demographic...if it looks like a duck, sounds like a duck, and swims like a duck, it might just be a duck.

I have lived in this area for 30 years. I would not choose any of those cities to live in. They all have bad gang and drug problems. Homes are really cheap in Beaumont right now. They have build a lot of new stores so that is nice. My sister worked for one of the new chain restaurants in Beaumont. Several times a month mostly the weekends the police had to be called to break up fightrs between the gang members in the restaurant.
Lake Elsinor has a bad stench due to dying fish in the lake.

There are several cities around there that would be a much better place to live. Try Temecula or Murrieta. Much better places and safer too.

I've lived the hemet/sj valley for 20 yrs. It's a horrible, horrible place to live. It's deteriorated over the yrs.. Now only gangbangers, wannabe's and trash live here. Our neighborhood used to be an OK place to live. Now it's full of sub-prime abandoned houses, banks giving away houses to anyone, even those who can't or won't buy curtains or maintain their homes. The home values have dropped 60-70%; we couldn't sell our house right now for $1. Now the houses are 30% rentals, which has brought in transient people who don't care about cutting the lawn or pulling the weeds in their lawn. EVERYDAY there are police reports of home invasions, and theft within about 2 blks from my house. This used to be considered the "best" area of San Jacinto, now it's just "ghetto" like many neighborhoods in LA-because that's what's moved into this area. Don't move here!

I've spent a lot of time in each area:
Beaumont---major wind--like 60 MPH....no
Perris---gangs--mexican, black...no
San Jacinto---see Perris--even more so
Hemet--of the four -- this is the best.

What's wrong with Mexicans or Blacks?

I live in Banning & we do not have 60 mph winds! The wind blows occasionaly. Makes it nice in the summer months. It's not as hot here in the summer compared to Hemet, Perris, etc.

Lordy.

Gangs are black, brown, white, yellow, and maybe even polka-dotted.

Gangs are a fact of life no matter where you live in Southern California. It doesn't matter if you live in Compton or Temecula or Baldwin Park or Rancho Cucamonga.

All 4 of the towns in this 'poll' have good areas and bad areas. People with common sense don't have problems.
