Default Backroads from Murrieta/Temecula to Rancho Cucamonga?

Hi my husband has to work in Rancho Cucamonga but the homes more south toward Murrieta seems to be cheaper and nicer. Are there any backroads from Murrieta to Rancho?

Any help would be appreciated, even if you could give me info on nicer areas nearby.

Unfortunally I don't know of any "back roads" that would help get him there. Rancho is quite a ways from Murrieta so even with traffic the freeway would take about the same amount of time, but probably less time because we're talking 50 plus miles of city streets otherwise. Good luck!
