yeah man, FYI Riverside is 60 miles from LA.....that's a pretty long distance to see a skyline. You'd want to be in the hills west of downtown LA.....and you need to have A LOT of money for that view.

But like others have said you can get some great mountain views from lots of places in Riverside or San Bernardino Counties. We live just outside downtown Riverside and have a decent view of Mt. Baldy.

Yeah, Seeing Los Angeles from Riverside or San Bernardino is impossible(unless one can find a high peak to stand on as someone suggested), I've lived in and about Los Angeles as I was born there, So If You want to see the LA skyline, It'll cost Ya a lot today, Mar Vista may be a good spot and It's part of LA, I lived there for a bit around the time I was 8 years old(41 years back), Where I lived didn't have sidewalks or curbs(It was a house on a hill), now It does and the value of the house I lived in is probably about $1.5 million today, Dad should have bought It then as the place had lots of space, Oh yeah. Maybe If I win the lottery I could buy the house, maybe.
