That being said, it's geared towards singles and young couples. You'll be hard pressed to find decent elementary and high schools in Mission Valley.

I currently live in East Mission Valley where there isn't much traffic, plenty of good family friendly neighbourhoods, but close to some decent night life (Dave & Busters, McGregor's Grill & Ale House, Chili's, Blue Agave Night Club ... just to name a few). Most of these places are actually walking distance from where I live.
LOL. "decent night life". Chili's? Really?

But on the other hand, this is a perfect post to describe Mission Valley. If that sort of thing sounds good to you, you'll like it there. If not, you won't.

I mention Chili's because it's a good place to just lounge for a drink and desserts. And the OP said he had a family so Chili's is also family friendly if you want to go for a night out close to home.

pages and pages and pages of attorneys in the phonebook and tons of Sam Spital's lol......

anyways, good luck....I kinda think you are jumping the gun, but whatever...

Fair enough. Like I said, your post *does* describe Mission Valley. If the OP is the sort that likes to hang out at chain establishments, then Mission Valley is indeed a good spot
