Get a cat-type animal, they are furry and love gobbling down other little animals.....they would happily snarf down a lizard I am pretty sure.

My cat could care less about eating lizards and mice, but my neighbor's cats think they're quite tasty.

Lol. People move to San Diego and complain about lizards. That's like me moving to Antarctica and complaining about Penguins.

You mean your cat "could NOT care less" about eating lizards.

If the OP is deathly scared of reptiles (no matter how harmless it may be) then I don't think a good answer is to just repeat over and over they aren't harmless and to catch it.

I'd recommend just calling someone and asking them to help. Do you have a neighbor you can ask for help? Child? Parent, etc? If all else fails, as silly as it might sound and an expense as they will charge, call an exterminator to come out. They can help you catch it but they will charge you for their time.

As others mentioned, it's harmless but it sounds like you have a phobia of them so I don't see you doing it yourself.

Good luck.

What I mean is that he's not interested eating lizards. I've only had one inside once, and it was in the bathroom. It would have to run in front of his face for him to even notice it, and even then he probably wouldn't care. He doesn't go outside, he came from the outside, and prefers to be an indoor cat now.

Not all cats are interested in catching lizards, mice, and birds.

Well, I know the problem. The Bloatosity factor of most American cats is off the scale, they are too lethargic to show interest in things like hunting and other strenuous activity....would rather watch the telly.

Just scale back the many, many, many meals you are stuffing into kitty....then it may snap out of its lethargy.

He doesn't go out, therefore, he's not interested in hunting. Even when he was an outside cat, he wasn't a hunter. Not all cats like to hunt.
