In north county, within 4 miles of the beach, to rent out a large master bedroom with master bath in a large, very classy, and richly furnished mobile home that has its own gym/weight room, along with high speed internet and satellite TV in every room. All utilities would be included, plus home cleaning/maid service once a month, along with the use of the park's recreation of heated pool, jacuzzi, pool tables, card room, etc. The home would be shared with only one other single retired individual.

How much should renting something like that be worth per month to a mature single professional or retired individual in the North San Diego areas?

52 people have viewed this and no one has even a guesstimate?

Come on gang....you don't lose points for a wrong answer. Maybe I should do it as a poll for those who aren't good in math.

My son is renting a one bedroom trailer/5th wheel in Woodland Hills and he's paying $700. That seems high to me but it's somewhat typical of LA and the Valley. The trailer is well appointed w/granite counters and storage.

Thing is--and with all due respect to mobile home dwellers--do parks with that many amenities exist here? Obviously we have mobile home parks, and lots of them, but the ones I've seen have been more modest and inland. I know I've seen Craigslist ads for a park in Santee (very inland, not North County), where a one-bedroom, recently remodeled home went for about $825, and I don't think the park had many amenities other than laundry and some shade and grassy areas, plus a manager holding it all together. The rules for the park seemed strict.

Another ad I saw for a smaller bedroom and bath in a shared two-bed home in a park in Clairemont (somewhat inland, central county) a few years ago went for about $600, and I don't think that park had anything like a weight room, pool or jacuzzi.

If you're asking this in response to an ad you've seen, can't help you. All I'd think is "expensive."

You might want to look at non-mobile and non-manufactured homes if you want all of those amenities in North County.

By classy, do you mean no wood paneling and real carpet on the floor?
