My boyfriend & I are moving to SD in may/june of next year. I will be attending SDSU & was wondering if it would be possible to live downtown & be able to catch a bus to SDSU? My boyfriend will have a car but Im not bringing mine. From what Ive read on here, most people think you need a car to get around. Im sure that if I am having a really hard time that I will buy a car but Id rather not have too.
Yes Ive been on sdcommute.com but I dont know any of the streets & other locations so its not much help to me Thanks! ![]() |

Both the bus and the trolley always have problems. But they get you there(most of the time) so either one should work if your into that.Plus it saves lots of gas!!!

There is a direct bus line from downtown to SDSU, but the trolley would be better the better option. Fewer stops and starts, less motion sickness and headaches. Probably no real time difference between the two. Eventually, as in about two years, there will be an super express bus with its own dedicated bus lane between downtown and SDSU. At that point you might want to check into the bus to see if it will save time.
