Hey, I'm heading from La Jolla to Palm Springs sometime after 5:30 PM on Friday night. How much traffic can I expect to get slapped with and does it make more sense to wait and leave a little later on in the evening? Thanks!

The 15 on Friday afternoons is always backed up. I'd wait till a little later in the evening.
