We are traveling from San Diego to Redondo Beach on a Monday afternoon.
What is the worst time for traffic, or is it an all day thing? ![]() |

The key will be the time of day at which you reach northern Orange County, and that needs to be before 2 p.m. Therefore you need to leave San Diego by 12:30. I believe the 405 has a car pool lane so that should be a help to you once you reach the congested areas.
