Default What are the rents like?

What are the rents like in the decent areas of San Diego. I'm not looking for anything fancy, just like decent middle class areas.

I'm asking because I have a possible job opportunity there. I have several choices in cities I could relocate to, with San Diego being one of them. San Diego is near the top of the list mostly because of the nice weather .

Ranges all over the place depending on the area. From the top to the bottom. Figure a decent 1BR in a decent neighborhood will run you about 1250. +/- 20%

PhotogRyan is on a distinguished road
In mission valley, I was renting a 1970's 670sq ft. 1br/1ba condo for $1050/month. Other 1bd/1ba units in Mission Valley vary between 1200-1400/month.

I wanted something nicer, so I'm now in a 1400sq ft. 3bd/2ba + loft apt in Little Italy for ~$2930 (but I have 2 roommates, so I'm only paying about $1175).
