I didn't make the comment. You called me a bitter old person. THAT's immature, because if you weren't you never would have made the comment in the first place. I don't go around calling people names.

Honestly, moved you're full of crap. You don't go around calling people names when in fact you're callin me a young non-believer so get your facts straight! Wow...are you serious? You come here for advice and then get personal when you don't like it? The advice is good! Major teaching layoffs are happening all over the country with layoffs occuring by seniority. School districts are including promises to recall laid off staff BEFORE hiring anyone new. Even if you are a one in a million to some how land such a job, having a back up plan is great advice. Faculty lay offs don't come with severance packages.

Good luck, but please be more kind to those who are veterans if this board. We need them!
