Default How is the area next to San Diego Mesa College?

Mainly the area to the immediate east, or Mesa College Drive. Right next to the college and above the hospital, but that doesn't automatically make it bad. Is it decent area?

It's pretty typical of Clairemont really... small homes, some in good shape, some run-down. lower-middle class to middle class, mostly homeowners. Lots of pickup trucks and boats in driveways. The bad areas are south of Kearny High.

E of the freeways it's Serra Mesa, pretty much the same as CL Mesa. There are pockets of not so good and areas with million dollar homes sprinkled throughout. Well maybe they paid a million in 08.

As Sassberto said, stay North of Genessee and you'll be doing good.

having a little trouble here. there's an apartment that looks like it's on the border of bay park, morena mission, and mission bay/beach. from what i've heard mission beach is a party town. morena is right next to USD, but bay park is ok to live in.

the apartment is listed in Bay Park even tho it says mission beach. it's on Morena Blvd. Is it the same as Clairemont/Sierra Mesa

If you think of the whole big area surrounded by freeways as Clairemont then it's easier to remember. There are communities within like Bay Park. So long as it's not near the area by the trailer park to the South you should be fine.

It's pretty much suburbia built in the late 50's to late 60's.
