Ick. Sorry for that! You probably already did, but be sure to have your carrier shut that phone off so that someone doesn't do nasty stuff to your account with it.

Does anyone know how good the reception is with Verizon in Carlsbad? Not downtown Carlsbad, but specifically near the McClellan-Palomar Airport and El Camino Real. I'm going to be traveling there quite often now for my job and was planning to switch to Verizon very soon (because AT&T's coverage in my hometown is not very good), but I wanted to make sure Verizon's coverage is good in that part of Carlsbad.

I love Big Red (Verizon) but the coverage just stinks in north La Mesa!

I live downtown in East Village. Basically, choose AT&T if data is most important. Choose Verizon if calls are most important. With AT&T had a terrible time keeping calls from dropping in my office (even with falling for the Micro Cell scam). I switched to Verizon for my office and it worked fine, but my data is noticeably slower and less reliable when driving around. Sprint and T-Mobile are far, far behind in quality here.

I travel to SD for business from the Bay Area and T Mobile is awesome and the rates are better then Verizon or AT&T.

...Unless you have a great job or have a lot of money

I would go with straight talk....Call up any walmart in the country...and they will say best prepaid phone is Straight Talk.

1. Month to Month / no contract
2. Uses Verizon or At&t depending on which phone you choose
3. They have some great Android Smart Phones to choose from
4. $45 Unlimited everthing....Talk, text, web and data with no limits
