I have been exploring the public health field and find that it might be a good fit for my current professional skill set and long-term interests. I'm in the process of relocating to SD and find that my employment opportunities are very limited at this time (I have a teaching degree (K12 Spanish), BA in Spanish, and 12+ years of experience working as a staffing recruiter/account manager for manufacturing companies). Therefore, I was looking at careers that would enable me to utilize my bilingual language and research/writing skills and provide the opportunity to connect with different people. A few questions I have are:

1. Is a Masters degree a requirement?
2. Are there volunteer opportunities available in this field?
3. Are there any online professional resources that I could explore to find out more about the profession?

I would love to hear feedback from anyone working in the public health field. Thanks!
