Thanks shmoov! Unfortunately, the place turned out to be very run down. It didn't look like the tenants had been taking care of the place for several years. I liked the area ok, but after driving around there, North Park and Hillcrest, I didn't see any other places for rent. I may be hard pressed to find something soon I'm going to keep looking, but I think areas like Kennsington and Bay Park, etc, may be better bets.

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone that helped me out answering questions here. I am now in SD and I found a gorgeous house in Point Loma to rent.couldn't be happier!
