I live in San Diego, CA but just got a new job in Riverside, CA
my new job is monday - friday 9am to 5:30p. How bad will my daily commute be ?

Uhhhhhhhhh .... we're talking practically 2 hours EACH WAY. Have you considered moving there?

I'm pretty sure that you can rent a small studio in Riverside just for the money you'd spend on gasoline driving back and forth.

Have you thought about doing a trst drive? Hust imagining it sounds like it would not be a pleasant experience.

Def look at moving or renting a small place out. I know somr people that do it in LA where their office is. Doesn't sound like fun but thry manage.

I know of one person who has this commute, but opposite. She lives in Riverside and commutes down to North County San Diego daily. It takes her 45 minutes to an hour to get to the vanpool she shares from Temecula down, then it's another hour (give or take) in the van. That's insane!

No surprise that she's one of the kookiest (though sweetest) people I know.

I used to work with a guy years ago who lived in Riverside. He worked part time in San Diego and part time in Los Angeles.
