I am moving to San Diego and I am curious on the music scene. How is the Skate Punk scene? Bands like Pennywise, Nofx, Blink, ect... I know they are all from there so I'm just wondering.

Really? Most of those bands sill sell out venues, and are making Records... The punk scene can't be completely dead there. It's still nice here in Utah.

They tour Europe and the Midwest along with other washed up bands. They'll do shows in the LA area but don't bother coming to SD unless it's to play a festival or something.

Emo/Indie is much bigger here, but the dominant music in San Diego is techno.

If you want to check out some new local music, come visit this site: SanDiegoHomegrown.com | Local, Free San Diego Homegrown Music. It's new so there are only a dozen songs, but the idea is that local bands can post songs here for free and all money from downloads goes to help save the La Jolla seals.

Who was wearing tight pants in the 90s? The 90s were all about saggers with the boxers showing. Tight pants - that was the early 80s.
