Hey everyone. My partner and I are moving to San Diego with 6 - 10 months and am looking for decent areas to live. We are looking for an apartment between $1200 and $1800, we would prefer to get a 2br. Any ideas?????????

Where will you be working? What's "decent", to you?

She will be working over by Montgomery Field. I would define decent as a low crime area that is close to everything but still quiet enough to sleep at night.

In that case, Tierrasanta. I lived there from 1988 to 1993 and remember it as a nice, quiet neighborhood. I'd still be there, but when I moved they didn't have condos yet - it was mostly apartments or single-family houses.

I live in Mission Valley right now. I like it a lot for amenities, driving, ease of access to everything, and the prices are relatively around what you're looking at. Either way, best of luck on your find. Just spend a lot of time researching!
