Maybe I am just more aware of the place and name after my recent visit out there, but it seems that there is a lot of talk around my normal "web habitats," of the great town of San Diego, California.

Since most of us are here because we like it here, you aren't likely to get a very objective answer! . Try asking the folks at your normal web habitats ...

Default San Diego's Rad

San Diego is AMAZING! I love it. I only went there in February and stayed a week, though. If I could find a place like this with weather like this that is more live music-centric with lots of bicycle paths, I would be in HEAVEN!

Well, anytime you VAY-KAY it is going to most likely give you a real rosy picture of the place you visit. But, there is usually a big difference between a vacation visit and living there. San Diego has its pros......great weather is a biggie. But remember, it is located in Californiatard.....there are many problems with this place.

Assuming a person can afford to live here, where is a better place to live?

are you asking in U.S or anywhere in the world? Anywhere, I can think of places-mostly along the mediterranean coastline. In U.S. I would be hard pressed to name one. I love SF and NYC like crazy-and they are in many ways "better" (as in more culture and amenities) cities than SD, but they could be hard to live in, and I would rather be here. My husband I say this is our last move, here's hoping!

I'm sure in much of the rest of the country, there's an increase of talking about San Diego in January and July. We're one of the very few slivers of the map right now that isn't red, darker red, or white.
