Awesome ride

Good call Jenkay
It's a pretty nice ride, and you can also access MB/PB from there as well!

^ Wow. About how long am I looking at if I bike from downtown to Ocean Beach? That is incredible. I didn't know they had a bike path that went there. Man, it seems like there isn't anything you can't do in Downtown SD. It seems like everything is right at your doorstep,including the airport, which is 5 minutes from the map I'm looking at. Amazing!
Is there a trolley that goes to the zoo? If so, any know the hours of that? Which one would I want.

the trolley does not go to the zoo, but the bus does
:: Transit.511sd.com ::
If you were to rent a bike, there is a rack on the front of buses.

Precisely Clevelandgal.
We used to ride our bikes to the zoo all the time from downtown (annual membership). The bike ride itself can be challenging for someone that doesnt ride a lot though, if one were to Park Bl up vs 6th Ave. The incline is a bit longer and steeper on the Park Bl side.

FYIL The bike racks are to the left of the entrance of the zoo about 50 metres from the ticket booth. During the busy season they can get full though and you may have to park the bikes nearby the artists village which is down the path left of the zoo entrance.

The trolley doesn't go to the zoo, but the #7 bus stops right out front. The trolley doesn't go everywhere, you have to transfer to a bus.

Nope. But there is East Village Bowl downtown. Its kind of hipster joint, but fun mini bowling (not full sized bowling alley) nonetheless.

Actually no mini gold near or around downtown that I am aware of. I think there is some in Pacific Beach or Mission Beach.
