Hello All,

Considering a potential move to your wonderful city from DC in the next year or two..... Could someone please tell me about mgmt consulting opportunities in San Diego? (Project Manager, Program Manager, PMO, Project Controller etc). My management background is in both IT and Financial Management; wanted to know what the current job market is like.

Additionally, I wanted to get a sense of what the Pakistani community is like in San Diego. As I understand there's a sizeable Indian presence, but my query is specifically about Pakistanis (population, which areas they live in, economic/professional demographics, availability of Pakistani restaurants, etc etc)

Any advice you could provide would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance!!!

We have a large Iraqi community, and some Afghanis. There are some Persians, but they tend to be more in the Los Angeles area. There are plenty of Somalis and Eritreans, and some Lebanese, but I don't recall ever hearing much about a local Pakistani community.

Thank you, kettlepot - any info you can provide on job opportunities w.r.t Project Mgmt? Keep in mind, my experience is between entry-level to mid, spanning 4 years...
