I didn't feel it but you are right! 4.2 at 4:30 PM in Baja:

Magnitude 4.2 - BAJA CALIFORNIA, MEXICO (http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/recenteqsus/Quakes/ci10990213.html - broken link)

Yup, felt it too in the Imperial Valley. I thought either the dog moved the couch or it was a small quake. I wrote down 431 as the time too and there it was online, 5 minutes later...kind of close to Ensenada. That isn't too common!

I am shocked it was this widely felt. Just one "nudge" and that was all...but all and all, the USGS site says more than 300 people have reported it already...

I didnt feel it here in LG.

4.2 is a decent bump. Still aftershocks from the Easter quake?

I did not feel it downtown. I want to feel one as long as no one gets hurt My spouse has experienced some after shocks from the Easter quake-first when he was here for his interview and then after he moved but I was not here yet-they actually woke him up.

I don't think this was an aftershock, just a random 4.2 temblor. It was on what appears to be the Vallecitos fault to the NE of Ensenada...totally different than the Laguna Salada fault that generated the 7.2

Don't be disappointed if you didn't feel this one, even if you did it would have been only a "bump" and you would have said, was that an earthquake? No big deal at all.

so about 4pm give or take, I felt a shake. My spouse and I were laying on a blanket having a picnic on Harbor Island. He said he did not but he heard a quick rumble and looked for a plane, but the rumble passed too quickly. I can't find anything so I am guess I imagined it.Anyone?
