Where to look for a room to rent near San Diego Zoo for only one month??
Hello, I am coming to San Diego for an externship at the zoo and I need an appartment for one month between January 1st to February 1st 2008. I have no idea where to look for that and I don't want to pay 1500$ for only one month. Is it possible? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Don't rent out of Creig's list.There is a major scam going around SD County.Today 10News is going to tell you about it.

Otherwise maybe have the prospective renter ask to see the ID of the person who supposedly owns the house and look up the name online (does SD have online property tax records?) to make sure they match.
