Hi,
I wonder if anyone knows if there is any monthly parking near the mexican border (US side)? Preferably a parking where I can walk to the border gate.
The thing is I am going to Tijuana (playas de Tijuana) for a month and prefer to park my car at the border US side - instead of driving it into mexico for safety reason.

or if anyone has better suggestions, I am open to it.

thanks.

How far do you live from the border? Would it be worth taking a taxi to some sort of bus/train station then taking the bus/train to the border?

LOL Leaving your car parked anywhere near the border is not a good idea. Maybe for a day at the most is fine, but leaving it there for a month, you might as well hand it over to car thieves.

You might try taking some kind of public transportation to the border (if you live in SD) or find a storage unit for your car.

Maybe park it at the tong-term airport parking then take a bus/train down?

It's right next to TJ, so there's alot of crime there. Everything from stolen cars to drug smuggling, human smuggling, murder, car chases, illegal immigrants, etc.
