Interesting. Just out of curiosity, did the place have statistics on what percentage of the people that go through there actually become a Golf Pro?

Is this something that your husband is doing for fun or does he plan to go Pro?

Good luck.

The vast majority are looking at being that Pro that works at the local golf course or country club. So when many of the academy attendees graduate, if their game has vastly improved then the academy has the connections to help in getting them on with a Course as their Pro. My thinking is that most of the attendees are already connected with a club or course and are fine tuning their game in order to teach.

The professional golfers (PGA types) have long roads of playing and qualifying via tournaments and Q-schools.

Of course with today's economy, all of the courses are hurting. Hopefully they'll see an improvement as the economy edges back up, but I'm thinking it's pretty rough out there right now.

Vista has good areas and bad areas. I don't know which streets mark them, but if you search here someone already described it in a different thread.
