^^^ KTLA was available on Cox Cable in through out the county up until about 2013. I am not sure why KTLA ceased appearing on Cox.

The TV weather forecasting here is pretty dismal too. It lacks accuracy and you can tell not a lot of effort is put forth during the on-air weather segments. This goes for all the local channels too btw. People always make fun of the L. A. news channels for their obsessive coverage of any raindrop that falls from the sky but at least its comprehensive and usually accurate. For example, did anyone know it was going to rain all day here today?? These oversights happen all the time here from the local media.

Yes, I knew from hearing on the local news that it's likely to be rainy all day today. I didn't find LA forecasts to be any more accurate than San Diego's.

But I agree, the weather forecast is less accurate here than it is farther east. That's because weather sensors are much more scarce out in the ocean to the west of us, which is where our weather largely comes from.

I got this news posting from a friend in DC, with the caption "You stay classy San Diego"....

Obama Mistakenly Reported as Rape Suspect, Fox Affiliate Apologizes (Video)

I got back by asking him how the weather is in Bethesda.

I totally disagree, Marianne Kushi is one of those most beautiful women on TV period imho. Not to mention her personality shines like gold, she's just a total sweetheart. I dunno, people have their opinions but to me, Marianne K is drop dead gorgeous.

Dropped in 2012, classified out of market not a must carry. Bandwidth just too valuable and expensive for the number of viewers. It happens a lot. I used to watch it just for the news chick in the helo

I rarely watch local San Diego news (watched it once and thought they were going to report on the Iowa State Fair) nor do I get any on the radio in the absence of an all news radio format in this city (rely upon KNX 1070, from LA, instead).....my college newspaper was better written than the Union Tribune.
