Making the move to SD this August! I'm a 22 year old male firefighter and am looking to start a career in s. Cal. I'll be taking an emt course at Miramar college and grabbing another associates in fire technology! I'd like to live pretty close to the city. I have a car that's paid off and good on gas, about $18,000 but no garuantee of a job! I'd like to live in somewhat of a nice neighborhood w rent ranging from 700-800 for a 1 bd. wouldn't mind living with a roommate either! Any suggestions?!? I'm also considering LA but SD is def my first choice.

I moved from the midwest years ago ha- - check out Pacific Beach, North Park, South Park, Normal Heights, University Heights, Little Italy, East Village-- all have people your age w/ bars, clubs, shops, etc.
