Sure, I say. But you'd be living in that random city, dealing with freezing temps in the winter, and months of hazy, hot, and humid temps in the summer.

And you pay a premium to live close to the water, but it's so worth it.
yes it is. Sure the place we are buying is so small you have to go outside to change your mind, but "outside" is less than 2 blocks from the sea, so I'm good.

Thankfully we have lived small and urban for a long time so I am not one to get too jacked up about small spaces in great areas.
