Is this a flight layover or what? How will you get from wherever you are, to wherever we might suggest you should be?

But if you are downtown or the airport, you might enjoy a bay cruise. That should definitely be doable. If you are at the airport take the 992 bus to Broadway and walk over to Harbor Drive.

It's difficult to know how much time you'll actually have, once transportation is considered. If you have enough time, the San Diego Maritime Museum is just up Harbor Drive from where you'll be taking a cruise.

Hornblower does 2 hour bay cruises for a reasonable price.

Got a smartphone? Look at Yelp.com or download the free app. Lots of great ideas there. Or check out Tripadvisor.com or download the free app.

Pick up a Car2go vehicle and just drive around that city until it's time for you to leave........pick one up downtown or near the airport. My favorite thing to do when I visit new place is drive around and get lost. You really get a feel for the city. Have fun!
