The temp jumped quite a bit and the humidity dropped a lot. The humidity right now is only like 30 percent!

I was out on the Barona Reservation for work. I'm no ecologist, but it is bone dry out there. I chatted up a local worker on the reservation, and fire fears are definitely a reality out there.i wish them safety and luck. On a side note, a saw a road runner. Those are pretty cool, huh?

Seriously my skin is having some issues with this dryness. I keep a bottle of vasoline for man lotion on my desk at work and use it religiously yet my knuckles, knees legs and elbows are ashy and gray. This dryness needs to go away. In my time in Arizona this dry weather was one of my least favorite aspects. Was back up in Ramona replacing all my rotors and brake pads. It was hot and bone dry up there (Actually been like this in El Cajon too). I hope we get record rainfall this winter and I hope it starts soon. I have a lot of friends and family up in Ramona, and much affection for that cool town. I would hate to see it ravaged by fire again anytime soon. Also I know us inland San Diegans are more at risk but the potential exists for a fire to start in our mountains and burn all the way to the ocean. All of us need to take care and use common sense throughout the county. Stay cool out there guys. It's supposed to get cold in a few days hopefully it stays there for a bit. I am totally not a warm weather person lol. If my town and community wasn't so precious to me I would be in a cold weather climate for sure.

I'm with you, I hate this dry heat. Chapped lips, ashy elbows and knees, dry sinuses. I'll take the humidity over this stuff. This is what Colorado feels like year round!

My ranks worst to best:
Heat AND humidy ( duh)
Heat and Dry better than being humid, but I'm so itchy I could scratch my eyes out,so no id never live in the desert.
Cold and humid. At least it's not hot!
Cool and pretty dry (my favorite). This is winter here when some rainy front is not going through.

I'll take this weather over a snow storm any day of the week.

But I am actually looking forward to some cooler weather. But still can't complain too much.

It's expected to be a lot cooler by the end of the week with showers likely.
